Original oilcan for VW vehicles
The Reich Ministry of Economics founded the Wirtschaftsforschungsgesellschaft mbH (WiFo) company in Berlin in 1934. Wifo was in charge of the procurement, production and logistics of raw materials important to the war effort.
This original WIFO oil bottle, was used in Wehrmacht vehicles. The box was in cardboard so planned for a single-use. Then very few survived.
The lid is in metal and very hard to find. The bottle has a total height of approximately 26 cm and an outer diameter of 9 cm.
Very rare and original accessory for a VW Kübelwagen, where such bottles could be fixed in the engine compartment.
